A Coyote Hills rainy wedding day is not what Brianna and Kris had wanted, but it was the perfect day. The rains held off until after the ceremony and we made it through almost all of the photos before it started. The day before the wedding seeing the rain in the forecast was not what anyone wanted. But it is what we got and we made the very best out of it. Coyote Hills golf course, is a stunning location and even in the rain never disappoints for amazing images.

My early morning, Brianna and Kris had a morning wedding, started at Embassy Suites in Brea where we did the couples detail and getting ready photos. I just purchased the Styling Mat for doing my layflat photography on and I am so glad that I did. I makes styling the details so much easier and gives more space than my old canvas I used to use!

One of the unique details about their wedding I really wanted to mention is Kris’s ring. He has always been a coin collector, so how special to have a ring made out of a coin. So very special and one of a kind!

Then we headed off to the venue for a Coyote Hills rainy wedding day, though you would never know it by the smiles! Brianna and Kris decided to not see one another before the ceremony but she did do a first look with her father.

Time for the ceremony!
One of my favorite parts of the ceremony is when the couple sees each other! This wedding was no exception because as soon as Brianna started coming down the aisle Kris started to cry.

Who doesn’t want a black eye from a wedding? As Brianna’s maid of honor was adjusting the dress at the end of the ceremony Brianna’s elbow caught her eye. Something to look back and laugh about years later.

After the ceremony we captured a few quick images before starting bridal party and family photos. A couple days after their wedding I got a message from Brianna letting me know that her grandmother had just passed away, so I wanted to include a photo of them together.
